Why can't I open new tabs? - February 17th 2011, 12:05 AM

When I'm online, if I want to multi-task, I usually just open another tab or two. For some reason, it's not allowing me to do that now. I use Firefox... But the little + button that I usually would use to open a new tab just doesn't do anything now. So I don't know... How do I fix this?

It's probably an addon-related problem.

Please start your Firefox in Safe Mode and see if the problem still exist. You can view instructions to start your Firefox in Safe Mode at: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode

Please post your result here. Also, please post your Firefox (FF) version and your operating system (OS) here, too

Alternatively, a clean reinstall of Firefox should fix the problem. But I would need to know your FF and OS versions to write instructions for this.

Thanks!
