Trust Stylus Design Tablet 15356 - April 30th 2011, 03:15 PM

I bought this off Amazon a few days ago:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B...ef=oss_product

It come today. I installed the driver and the programme which comes with it (Artweaver) but for some reason it's not really working It lets me click the "file explorer" "open" "new" "cut" "paste" etc. buttons on the tablet's screen which work fine but it won't let me actually draw/move the cursor/do anything useful

I'm really confused :| it obviously works because the buttons work and it senses the drawing pen but it won't let me draw on any programme (paint, artweaver, paintshop etc.)

I have Windows Vista btw.

Help :/

It has been several days since you have posted this; so you may have already solved this. But in case you have not:
1. Try removing your current driver (the one that comes with the disc), and download and install the latest drivers instead.

Before doing this, though, try disabling Windows Vista's Tablet PC Input Service first, and see whether the problem is solved. It could be just a simple conflict between Windows Vista's Tablet PC Input Service and Trust's Tablet driver.

If you choose to try disabling Vista's Tablet PC Input Service but don't know how, then please reply. I can give more details then.

2. Alternatively, since Windows Vista can recognize tablets without needing the manufacturer's drivers, your Trust Tablet should still work even without installing the official drivers from Trust. So you can disable or uninstall Trust's drivers, unplug the tablet, reboot the computer, and then re-plug the tablet again. Again, it should still work even without Trust's drivers.

One down side of not using the drivers from Trust is that you won't be able to access your Trust Tablet's customized control panel. But if you can live with that, then this is an option.
