Well this depends on how much you want to spend and what type you like.
One brand that I have started to really like is SkullCandy. They have lifetime warranties where if your headphones break due to a manufacturer issue, they will examine it and send you a credit to but a new pair for the same price. If it breaks down just from use etc, they give you 50% off your next purchase online. I love their headphones. I have had the over the ear headphones and I loved them for blasting music. Earbuds aren't amazing for blasting (damage to your ears), but their earbuds are noise canceling. I have had a pair of their earbuds for a few years and they are amazing! You don't have to turn the volume up a lot to blast it. Take a trip to their website to see if you like them! Leave the past behind, just walk away When it's over, and the heart break And the cracks begin to show *~*~This little girl was alone in the world~*~* Hold Onto Hope |

Avoid spending higher than $60 or $80. Anything higher than that is just a waste of money. Personally, I would go for stuffs below $30 and call it good.
But noise-canceling only available at higher prices (like $150 and above)? Well, for the $30 or less headphones, you can customize them into good noise-blocking headphones. And it might be better than the real noise-canceling one, too. They are fairly easy to make and shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes. Buy a standard earmuff (like the ones for shooters, you know, the ones they use for ear protection). This should cost around $25 or less. You can then merge your existing small headphone into the earmuff. And viola, a self-made noise-blocking headphone. You can go to YouTube and search for "DIY noise canceling headphone" if you need detail instructions. (In fact, here's a good tutorial, if you are interested.) It's pretty simple and cheap. PLUS, you wanted different styles of headphone, right? This would be very different from your normal ones. ![]() ![]() |
