Broken Laptop -
July 7th 2011, 10:24 AM
Well, my laptop has broken.
I took it to a computer shop the other day and the guy there thought it was a Windows problem so has basically installed Windows again I think. He says there's nothing more he can do. I'm kind of at a loss for what to do now. Do I try another computer shop, send it back to the manufacturers or what? I don't really have a lot of money and what I don't want to happen is me sending it away to the manufacturers, them fixing it and then it turns out that it'd have been cheaper for me to just buy another laptop. I don't really know what's wrong with it but the screen/graphics card are damaged in some way. The icons on my desktop are distorted and the screen flickers when it's turning on. Then when it's loaded up and I start using it the screen basically fades to white gradually. I'm on Windows Vista and I have a Medion E5211 is that's any help. Edit : Nevermind, I took it to the shop the computer man suggested and they fixed it for me, it was just the screen. This can be closed
