Is 250MB good?

Hi guys

So Im getting a new phone... and I have been offered one with 250MB of mobile data. Is this good? I really havent got a clue about technical stuff so Im not sure if they are trying to take advantage of it. To be honest Im not even sure what the 250 MB of "mobile data" is for... is it internet or what?

In essence, it depends on which type of phone you have, and how much you plan on using it for internet access -- but overall, with most smartphones and an idea of how much is an average amount of usage, 250MB isn't very much to work with.

Take the time you spend on the internet on your phone and divide by ten.

I use 80 hours of internet a month, mostly browsing thirty five minute videos this comes out to 8GB a month (Probably like 7.5 but it's a decent estimeation tool.)

1000 MB is one GB (I could be wrong though.) so that gives you 25-35 minutes of browsing per whatever time slot was offered. Possibly longer if no pictures (Avatars, pics, ect.) are displayed.

Agreed with above posts
It depends on how often you use your phone for Internet. If very often, you want a much bigger plan but if you only use Internet services rarely then that would be fine. 250 MB is not a big plan...it is like saying you'll download only maybe around 50 songs per month?
