Oh dear, I post in here too much.
 Just a quick question, I promise! I can't find it online, but Orange are currently running a deal until the end of September where you pay them £60. For that you get one of the two phones on offer (Orange Rio or Sony Ercisson) or £30 off another phone. They will also top up your phone by £10 every month for 6 months. With that you also get 300 free messages and 100mb of internet per month. So I thought that sounded really good, and I do need a new phone, even just to tide me over for a while. I was going to go and get it this Saturday, but since my dad "owns" my mobile number just now because he paid for the phone and sim and everything I had before, would he have to come with me if I wanted to keep my number or can I go myself?   |

If the contract says he is the owner/person it belongs to/person who pays the bills, then I believe he needs to come with you. Could you call and ask?

if his name's on the contract, then yes he'd probably have to come. i'd call first though and double check.

Thanks Kelly and Kady, I called up the Orange shop in Glasgow and they said dad would have to come with me. I'm going to work with him tomorrow and we'll get it then. Thanks for your help!
