Mine works...but I have noticed it before. YouTube gets glitchy a lot. Try logging out and back in. It sometimes takes my page a day to be un gitchy.

I usually follow my YouTube subscriptions on Facebook or Google+ and they post the videos there as well. If you're subscriptions haven't been working, try looking up their Facebook page, 'Like' it, and see if any of their videos have been posted. I only am a subscriber to one person via YT, Ray William Johnson, and he does this for his viewers.

Sometimes I have bugs like this with Youtube too, but they usually get resolved in time.

The not showing the subscriptions happened to me 2 weeks ago but I just looked up a video and watched that and did whatever and went back to the the homepage and it was back to normal
As for the weird message I kinda had the same thing a year ago Quote:
