Is this a good deal for this xbox 360 and are these good games? - October 11th 2011, 05:17 AM

$150 dollars

20GB Xbox 360 console complete with power cable, HDMI cord, A/V cables, 2 classic white controllers and 1 silver redesign controller (featuring transforming D-pad) complete with controller charging cable! Everything runs perfectly and the Xbox is in great shape aside from one USB port that does not work (the other two work fine, though!)..

Games included are:
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Last Remnant
Assassin's Creed
Brave: A Warrior's Tale
Samurai Shodown Sen
Warriors Orochi 2
Mirror's Edge
Dark Star One: Broken Alliance
Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce
Samurai Warriors 2 (yeah I love Warriors games lol..)
Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3
Frontlines Fuel of War
Quantum Theory
Ninety-Nine Nights II

My hubby REALLY wants an xbox for christmas. I want to get one for him, but I don't know anything about video games. I saw this ad on CL. Is this a good deal? What should I be looking for in an xbox? any game recommendations?

well black ops alone can run you what 40 to 50 dollars used so ya its a great deal the only thing i would be worried about is the fact of how great of a deal that is and since its on CL you cant always trust that your getting what you paid for .i don't really have any game recommendations because all i really play right now is black ops. And i dont know what you should really be looking for i guess that it works but there could always be issues that arise once you have it on for a few hours

That's a great deal. If both you and your husband are going to be playing I recommend you get Fable 3. It's a really fun co-operative Action RPG game, it has a few glitches but other than that it's a great game. You can buy it off Ebay or CL for about $10-$30.

20GB isn't that much. You can buy a 120 or 250GB hard drive in most stores and online for around $20-50. Depending where you go.

Otherwise, for a guy, I think the games are pretty decent. Black Ops is still fairly new and most guys I know enjoy playing it (although they don't like this one as much as the previous games in the series).

Assassin's Creed was a very popular game in 2009/10. It's pretty good.

Otherwise I've not heard of most the other games. Do some research on the games. See the ratings.

Overall though, this seems like a good deal. A 20GB 360 normally would run $160. So they are giving you everything else free. You could always sell the games he doesn't like or give them to a Video Game store for some money or for trade.

So you have gray hair and you're only 26

that's just another reason I love you...

I think it is a pretty decent deal.
Good- lots of games included. I've only heard of a few of these-Black Ops, Assassin's Creed, and Mirror's Edge. Those have been pretty popular games.
Only iffy part is making sure that everything works (is there a way to ensure this is a trusted deal). If it a secure transaction, I'd say go for it. If your husband is a serious gamer, as said you can always upgrade the hard drive.

As for games, it all depends on what types of games he likes. Portal 2 has always been a favorite of mine. My boyfriend loves Halo Reach, COD, Gears of War series, Borderlands, and such.
