Need a change. - December 3rd 2012, 06:07 PM

I have been trying to be much more confident in myself but I find it very difficult, like I want to wear make up and where girly clothes but where I used to SH I have become less confident.

Natural make up tips?
I just want to dress girly once and a while so anything will help even if its a style change.

Do you currently own any make-up? If so, what kind of products do you own? Make-up can be full but look natural, or it can be a few products (like a bit of mascara, lipgloss/light lipstick etc). I personally think people who have just started/about to start wearing make-up should start with mastering simple stuff to do with application and so on, and simple looks, such as a couple of natural looking ones.

Also, as for the style change, what kind of clothes do you currently wear?

If you're self conscious about scars, then you can always try some concealer and foundation on them, it can usually hide them pretty well unless they're really bad, and in that case, try not to let them get you down. It was a mistake, but it doesn't have to show how often you felt weak, it shoes how often you were strong enough to stop doing it. As for facial make-up, try to keep it simple at first, think concealer, foundation, lipgloss and eye liner at the very most, you can do without any of those though as well. Wait until you're more used to make-up before you start using stuff like blush and eye shadow.
