How to dress for my shape - July 15th 2013, 11:07 PM

Am I a "pear shape"? How do I dress for my shape? I have so much trouble with skinny jeans because my thighs are too big, but my waist is too small. I could never fit into jeggings. I'm like a size [Edited by Kitty.] in waist and an unknown size in the leg. I was wondering if you could give me brands of jeans, what type of jeans, and suggestions of what to wear.

I want to wear bodycon skirts and dresses but they never look good on me. I don't how my calves look compared to my height. I'm kind of short (shorter than most people I know). I also have trouble wearing 1/2 or 3/4 length sleeves in styles like plaid shirts and long sleeves that are tight. Am I being too picky or am I just funky?

I don't really have a butt though it's been getting a little bigger or maybe perkier. I'm 14 Female so I don't know if this shape will stay. Boobs are only a [Edited by Kitty.]B.

I know about the height problems, I'm your same height. I think you're being picky and seeing things that nobody else really sees, such as bigger thighs or certain shapes of your body. Nobody notices the little imperfections we can always find in ourselves. I'd recommend you go into a store that carries Levi's or another big name, high quality jean and try on a large variety of styles. I can't tell you exactly which ones you'll like the most, I think it's mostly just preference. Personally, I like pencil jeans a lot, which are like skinny jeans but a bit looser in the thigh area. Then I know a lot of people like boot-cut.
