Dress Shopping - October 12th 2013, 12:16 AM

So, I only own one dress right now, sadly, but I want to get more.
One of my issues is that I don't feel comfortable going clothes shopping at stores around here, because most of them are rather expensive and people look at me funny because I don't own the nicest clothes.

Does anyone know of any websites that sell dresses at affordable prices? I'd be paying USD, just for the record.

I did a little search and saw that Ruche sells lots of dresses for under $40. You can even search their dress section by price range.

Target usually has some affordable dresses, and Delia's sometimes has gigantic sales with like 70% off dresses and other things so you could probably find a dress for $10-$25 pretty easily.

I absolutely love the dresses on Etsy. You can use the app or can just go to etsy.com and see some dresses. In my opinion, I think they're pretty affordable plus there's a lot of variety of styles. Forever 21 and Nordstrom are also really good dress shops. I hope this helps, good luck!

Hmm It's difficult to buy good dress in the internet when you don't have a experience in it, because the real dress may be not so pretty as on picture was. I prefere go on sales or sacond-hand shop, especially if you not having a lot of money.

I get a lot of stuff from ebay. Mostly from the sellers that are based in China/Korea coz it's so cheap. You could try that but if you do I recommend paying close attention to the clothes sizes since Chinese clothes are on the small size. Amazon also sell clothes now so you could look there as well.

I don't know any other websites that aren't UK based though but just google something like "cheap clothes sites US" or whatever. I did that before for the UK and found loads of good ones

Rue 21 is a nice place, they usually have really good sales and generally good prices. Here's some of their current dresses in stock.
