Flats or heels? - November 14th 2014, 12:36 PM

My obsession with shoes inspired me to make this thread.
So, what do you prefer, flats or heels?

I love flats, because I am too clumsy to walk in heels.

Same Kav! Heels look pretty, but I wouldn’t be able to walk in them! Prefer flats for that reason

I like the look of heels but I can't walk in them at all

If I'm going out to an event or party I wear heels, they make me feel a bit better about myself and more confident but flats are better for everyday stuff. I tend to wear dr Martin stye boots which have a bit of a heel

Flats all the way. Last time I wore heels I sprained my ankle.

I honestly only wear sneakers but if I had to wear something I would probably wear flats? I can pull off heels and have in the past so as stated it might be both? I went ahead and marked flats though because I know they are more comfortable.

Re: Flats or heels? - November 14th 2014, 04:32 PM

I only wear sneakers. Even at home it's usually plain socks or sneakers. My feet are wide so heels and flats both hurt my feet but have worn both in the past. I don't particularly like either of them but at times I might like wearing flats. As a kid I just wore what was given to me, which were many times heels modified for children. For the last few years however, I've only worn flats to fancy events when I absolutely HAD to be fancy like my cousin's wedding.

I only said heels because I don't actually own any flats but I do own some heels. I don't wear them often but I do enjoy them. I can walk in them just fine but after awhile my feet hurt. But I do ballet so I'm kind of used to the pain

I said flats because I'm way too clumsy for heels and flats are more comfortable. At the same time, though I do occasionally like a little bit of a wedge or something to make me look taller since I'm so short.

I picked flats because I have never really worn heels in my life (I have worn wedges, if they could also be considered as a heel). I mostly wear tennis shoes and would only wear flats/heels for special occasions.

I usually wear heels if I'm going to a party or if I'm wearing something slightly fancier then just jeans and a sweatshirt. I will occasionally wear them to school or for errands but it all depends on what I'm wearing. I really don't wear flats though because I don't like how my foot feels exposed. I tend to wear converse, toms, running shoes or combat boots on a regular basis rather then flats though!

Heels because they're pretty and I like to be tall. That being said, I just love shoes in general, so I normally wear shoes other than heels or flats. Like Lexi said, combat boots are the best and I'll admit to having a slight obsession.

Flats. I honestly don't really care either way, but heels can really hurt your feet and even cause some issues later on, so it's better to just stick with flats in the first place. Last time I had to wear heels was for a wedding, and they tore my feet to shreds!

Heels. The higher, the better.

I can't buy flats to fit properly. After they're broken in well, I find that heels are more comfortable, anyway. Maybe it's because my feet have insanely high arches, and the curve of high heels suits the arch of my foot better than the flat inner sole of flats.

I wear both and sometimes I wear heels to school. But yeah I'm mostly neutral on it.
