is it wrong? - February 20th 2015, 12:28 PM

Embarrassing question
Is it wrong to go out on the street without a bra under your shirt?
I just really despise bras and I stopped wearing them every winter because I wear layers anyway and no one seems to notice but now I'm afraid to take off my jacket at school.

Is it wrong? I feel like I'm gonna be stared at and judged. I don't really have a reason besides discomfort and it being undesirable. My breasts also look bigger in a bra and I don't like that. Maybe that part has to do with not wanting to look feminine all the time. Well there are times when I don't care and times when I deliberately don't want to look a feminine woman.

I would wear a bra on certain occasions and in the summer time because it is too hot for a jacket anf therefore cant hide it but I honestly don't want to anymore. I've been wearing bras because it seems inappropriate if I didn't. Will I be offensive? Last summer at the daycare I worked at, I didn't wear a bra a few times and though the kids were probably not even noticing, I kept my arms folded a lot of the time so it doesn't show. I guess I feel others will single me out and be like you gotta wear one. I wear an undershirt but yeah that doesnt stop it from showing pointy through my shirt.
This is not an act of feminism btw. I imagine that's something feminists would think of . I just really hate bras.
Also, what exactly are binders and what do they do? That's just a curiosity thing.

I don't think it's wrong at all, whether or not you wear a bra is all personal preference. I don't think there are any health benefits to wearing a bra and it's perfectly fine to not want to wear one. You won't be offensive and if anyone gets offended, that's their own problem.

I personally don't like the attention that my body gets so I sometimes go out of my way to hide my breasts. I usually do wear bras, but I wear them for myself. Do what feels right for you.

Thank you Cassie.
That makes me feel better. I just don't want to draw attention by not wearing one.

Didn't wear a bra today. I don't wear a bra maybe half the time. Depends on what else I'm wearing. Don't wear a bra if you don't want to

Binders are meant to squish your breasts down; there are some that can hide DDs. Be careful what you get if you get one though; some are unsafe (like using ace bandages) because they can restrict your breathing.

Sorry I couldn't be there, I was tied to a rocking chair.
