Shaving arms? - April 18th 2015, 01:39 AM

Do any other girls shave their arms? I've done it for about 8 years now, since I started noticing that I got really thick, dark hair. I was really self conscious about it so I just started shaving it. Some people think it's weird, but I think it's weirder having really thick arm hair as a girl haha

I know some girls who shave their arms, and some who don't. However nothing about either is weird, shaving arms isn't weird and neither is having thick arm hair. Both are 100% okay. ^_^

The hair on my arms isn't really noticeable, so I don't shave them. I did one time, and regretted it, especially when it was growing back. One of my old friends used to shave her arms regularly as she had darker arm hair and was self conscious about it. I don't think it's weird to shave your arms, and I don't think it's weird to not shave them either.

Honestly I though it was normal when I started shaving. I see no reason why you shouldn't or should. And it is normal for hair to grow back darker either way as long as your comfortable than do what ever feels good to you

I shave my arms. If I just leave them then I have relatively hairy arms for a woman :/ I only do it like once a month or so.

As a trans female, shaving my arms is a lifesaver. Since I'm biologically male I naturally have a lot of arm hair, so shaving it helps me feel more comfortable and less dysphoric. That's just my personal preferences though, I know girls who don't shave and others who do, it's really up to you. ^^

I have friends that shave their arms and others that don't. As those before me have said, It's a personal preference. I've never heard of a girl being made fun of for not shaving her arms and I've never heard of a girl being made fun of for shaving her arms. There really isn't a societal norm for this topic honestly.

I don't, too much work. I have light hair all over my body, even my leghair is very thin and light, so I wouldn't waste my time with that.
