Smile Makeup - November 20th 2016, 12:00 AM

Hey guys does anyone know any good websites that let you pick out some free makeup samples to try? You know without the crappy surveys that lead to nothing ? Thanks

Hello Ali,

I don't know any websites to win free make-up or samples. But if you google your country and then "free samples of make-up" something should come up. I know many places have contests and give out free samples but sometimes there is only a limited amount of product and has a time frame on how long it is available.

You can buy inexpensive make-up at dollar stores or bargain stores.

I agree with the above poster. Also, there is this thing called ipsy and you pay a fee ($10) and you get some makeup every month. I have family who have done this and have really enjoyed it. And, $10 isn't especially expensive.

Hey there,

A friend of mine who is really into makeup subscribes to two different boxes: Ipsy and Birchbox. I believe each are between $10 and $15 a month and they send you samples of different products. She's even occasionally gotten a few full-sized samples. I don't know a ton about either box, but I'm fairly certain they have you fill out a simple survey at the beginning, which is really only used to determine the kind of products that you like so they know what they should be sending you!

Take care,

wanderlust consumed her;
foreign hearts & exotic minds compelled her.
she had a gypsy soul
and a vibrant heart for the unknown.

Literally Ipsy is the best; better than half of my makeup comes from it! I've been getting Ipsy monthly for a few years now and have gotten some great products that I never would have tried otherwise. Plus, you get a really cute makeup bag every month (I often fill them with cute little things and give them as presents because I don't need as many as I have). Every month you get the makeup bag, and five (trial size) products. It's so much fun, especially for someone like me who has a hard time sticking to one makeup routine.

Hi! So I'm not sure about online but at the dollar general near my house and basically everywhere they have a two for a dollar sale on some l.a. makeup. There's eyeshadow lipgloss eyeliner etc. so they are 50 cents each which is cool. That's a good alternative to free samples.
