Cold shoulders - May 30th 2018, 07:46 AM

Are cold shoulders still a trend? I see everyone wearing them. Wherever I go, I see so many girls with that kind of style. I think it should be outdated by now. what do you think?

Delwen, I could be totally wrong but I think cold shoulders are blouses that have a sleeve and neck, but the shoulder portion is bare, which means your bare shower is visible. I could be wrong, I'm not really fashion inclined.

(Also, on a non-fashion related note, to give someone the cold shoulder is to shut them out and not speak to them)

But if cold shoulders are what I think they are (as said in the first paragraph) then I hate cold shoulders. They just really bother me for some reason. Bring back those awful shoulder pads of the 80s any day over cold shoulders.

But if they aren't called cold shoulders, then I'm out.

I see a lot of people in the city wear cold shoulders. It's been nice and warm here so it's common to see others wear them.

I think what fashion erra it Is, it'll always be fashion and popular. I think cold shoulders are really nice. It's something I would love to find and wear to a party or to an event.

What are your thoughts on cold shoulders, lucyhiggs?

Delwen they are the shirts that have the shoulders cut out and then continue to have sleves whether they be short or long.

Anyways I actually like those shirts, I don't have many of them but really like them. I honestly don't think they will ever really be out dated. I see some people wearing them where I live but I don't get out much.

We break fast, cause we are glass.
Cause we are glass.

I don't pay attention to fashion but I quite like the cold shoulder look....though I've not worn anything with cold shoulders...I wonder if it would bother me in some way that the shoulder part is missing

I don't mind the cold shoulder look. I think some of the shirts that are considered 'cold shoulder' can be quite nice looking. It's possible that one day this trend will go out of style but it seems to have become big within the past few years so I don't think that will happen for quite some time.

Since this seems to be about the fashion trend, I moved this over to Fashion & Style.

I'd wear a cold shoulder top depending on the design of the rest of the top. I might actually have one but I'm not sure.

Ah that makes sense, thank you for explaining.

Here in Australia a lot of people wear them but I don't. I find them super uncomfortable to wear. My sister and mum wears them.

breathe. it's just a bad day, not a bad life.
