Christmas dinner make up - December 8th 2009, 11:48 AM

So my kayak club has a christmas dinner on friday and i don't know what make up to wear and as it's one of the only chances the girls have to look nice (because well you know what wetsuits and drysuits do not look good on any girls lol) I really want to look nice

I'm wearing a plum purple silk dress, black heels and silver necklace

I have very short dark brown hair, green/blue eyes and fair skin if this is of any relevence and would love help!

Also a bit of a make up enthusiast so far as i buy it all the time but don't know what to do with it so can pretty much do anything and looove glitter lol

I'd say just wear a grey eyeshadow with bits of black in the far corner of your eye (not the one next to your nose!) and on your lash line to make your eyes look bigger with a bit of clear lip gloss and a pinky-coloured blush
you could even wear make-up with a bit of sparkle in it if you wanted

Have fun at your party!

i'm a guy. i know. but i know what i'm talking about!

wear some eyeliner, but try extending it a bit beyond your eye, having it curl out just a little bit.

for your eye-shadow, try blending a darker grey, fading into a lighter grey, and fade that into a darker purple.

mascara for the eyelashes, you know, make em longer. try not to have them TOO clumpy, although i find a little bit of clump to actually be kinda cute.

try and make your lips a little pinker, and apply some gloss to make it shine. it'll make your lips appear a little fuller. add a bit of foundation (and cover up if you have bad skin) and then a HINT of pink blush. make it so it's just visible.

add a bit of sparkle if you want to the eyes, but i dont recommend it. i'm not a huge fan of sparkle, but if you can work it, go for it.
