Girls, Check Out This Makeup! E.L.F

So... I think I need to spread the word to all the girls out there. I discovered this website called Eyes Lips Face, or E.L.F, for short. All the makeup is a dollar! Unless you get the studio line or mineral line. I know a lot of us are trying to save money, including myself. I bought some and tried it... It's the best I've EVER tried. They always have coupons, and now all my makeup considers of Elf brand makeup. If you don't have a lot of money you really really should check it out. I've probably bought at least 70$ worth of products.

I'm gonna have to check that out more in depth when I am not rushing but from what I have seen it looks pretty promising. My sister in law found this one site that had around 60 eyeshadows for fifty dollars and I was like woah nelly.
Even the other collections are nicer too if your trying to save money because they seen a little less expensive then the lines that are well known.

I ordered the mineral foundation and the studio line cream eyeliner as well as a face brush, it's great and lasts all day.

Only problem I have is that I hate to pay for P&P so one day when I have enough money I'm gonna have to order £50 worth so I can get free delivery

I've ordered two make up brushes from the studio collection for £3.50 each
1 liquid eyeliner in midnight
1 liquid eyeliner pen in black.. want to see how it compares to the Bourjois one i have at the moment
1 brush from the normal collection
1 gel eyeliner pot

I'm about to use a coupon. If I buy 20 dollars of Elf makeup I get ten mineral eyeshadows free. Those are the little individual ones you find in Mac or Bare essentials. They are three dollars each so can't pass it up you know? My boyfriend isn't too happy about it though, he thinks I'm crazy.

I love that place. I keep meaning to order from them, but I always wind up soending my money on something else. I love how everything is cheap, yet I've heard nothing but good things about them. Most make up is sooo expensive.

Apparently the Coastal scents 88 palette is VERY pigmented. Well, that's going from the tons of reviews on youtube anyways.

And as for the Coastal Scents Palette, I managed to get my hands on the neutral and shimmer ones. I don't like the shimmer one too much (I can't apply it very well ) but the neutral one's alright Will be on the look out for the original. Elle's right, they're very pigmented

Ok.. my order came today (friday) and i ordered it on Wednesday evening!!

Eyeliner pen - I think this is my favourite of everything i ordered. It goes on really well, waterproof and lasts well. I got it in black, definitely recommend it - especially if you're not so great at applying liquid eyeliner. In my opinion there isn't really any difference between this one which costs £1.50 and the bourjois one i have.

Liquid eyeliner - I ordered it in midnight and the colour is quite nice and the applicator is quite stiff so it's easy to apply, but you have to do a few coats or it's streaking/see through-ish.

I ordered a few brushes, two from the studio range and one from the normal range.
Contour brush - it's really good for putting a bit of colour in your crease without getting it everywhere! For the money it's ridiculously good value!!
Same goes for the Eyeshadow Brush - There really is no difference between this and other more expensive brushes.. apart from maybe MAC brushes which are better quality but for £3.50 it's pretty amazing!
Ordered the Smudge eye sponge which works great for smudges pencil eyeliner so it doesn't look so harsh. definitely recommend this one too!

I'm really surprised with the quality of it considering it's so cheap! Thanks Holly for recommending this company, Shipping was REALLY fast as i already said, and it came in a nice box well packaged unlike other make up i've ordered which comes all bashed up sometimes.! I'm going to order more stuff soon - any recommendations from anyone??

The contouring blush and bronzer is one of the BEST.
The undereye concealer and highlighter is amazing. I use the highlighter as a primer for my eyes, It has a double use.
The 1.00 Quad eyeshadows from the original line.
Complexion Perfection
Tinted Moisturizer.

All of it is the BEST.

Yeah it is a liquid eyeliner pen.. but it's not really liquidy so doesn't smudge as you put it on. You have to do a few coats to get it really dark but it's good. It's kinda like a marker pen but in makeup form. If you look up some reviews of it on youtube you'll see people applying it can get the idea!

edit: I just watched a review on youtube and the girl said it's really hard to get off with make up remover. I haven't found this at all.. came off easily enough with baby wipes!

Well I might as well get one to try it. But my liquid eyeliner I have right now cost less than £4 and has last me like 2 years. And I only have to do one coat and it stays on all day without a problem. So it has a lot to beat

There are some tutorials that are done by pretty good artists, search echoli or bebexo. I'm a youtube freak.

Got my second order in the post today! - Delivery was so quick again.

Love the bronzer i bought - i got it in sun kissed and it's a lot lighter than in the picture on the website. Which is actually a good thing because i have quite light skin but yeah, it's a bit different to the picture.

I also bought one of their mineral lipsticks. I bought it in nicely nude. It looks like a really pretty pinky nude colour on the website BUT IT IS NOT! There is nothing nude about it. I took a picture so you can see what i mean. I've given it to my mum because it's not something i would ever wear. I should have read some reviews on the net before purchasing this because a lot of reviews say the same thing - that people are disappointed at the misrepresentation on the website. It's still a nice lipstick - just not what i thought i was getting! Sorry for the blurry pic but you get the idea. Edit:: Sorry for the HUGE picture, don't know what happened there.. The packaging is lovely though, looks expensive!

I got mine in the mail. The mineral eyeshadows are amazing, especially Sweet, Confident, Wild, and golden. They are so shiney and gorgeous.

I ordered a coastal scents 88 palette about a week ago and it arrived today! I LOVE it.. There is quite a bit of fall out, but the colours are amazing and so pigmented, I want to order the shimmer palette as well now.

Also, ELF gave me a full refund on the lipstick.. They were very easy to deal with.
