Bright Makeup - April 30th 2010, 05:00 AM

Okay, as you can tell if you have seen my pictures, is that I like drastic makeup.
Does anyone know where to get good bright-colored eyeshadow? The eyeshadow I have is bright, but I would like some brighter colors including red. A palette would be really great

Also, I would like it to be just an eyeshadow palette due to the fact that 1. I am allergic to face powder so I would never use face powder and 2. I have sufficient lip gloss.

The make up brands I use that are really strong and bright coloured are Urban Decay and Mac Cosmetics. As for where you can buy them, I'm not sure in the USA, but I'm sure they can be bought online, and probably in shops somewhere. It might be a little costly, but very worth the price!

Hot Topic and Forever 21. I don't use much makeup (except in show choir ) but I've seen some there.

I agree with this. Stargazer do a lot of bright coloured makeup, especially eyeshadows. I have one eyeshadow by them and they are really pigmented. I think you should be able to get Stargazer makeup where you live.

There are some great makeup shops online and on eBay if you just search the keywords with EXACTLY what you need ^_^

I don't know if you live by a Joyce Leslie, but I picked up a palete there for 3 dollars. I thought it would be ugly and not look nice. But the colors are so nice and its so cheap. I love it! The brand is Beauty Treats.

My experience with Claire's makeup is that it's even cheaper-made than Hot Topic...

Stargazer, Barry M and Urban Decay are the only ones I can think of that would be sold in the US.

I used a palette called Beauty UK that's majorly bright but I don't think you'd be able to get it in the US unless you tried looking online.

Re: Bright Makeup - June 6th 2010, 02:27 AM

I found a site actually, that has extremely bright, Vegan-friendly make-ups. (Except they say their "Poodle Pink" has Carmine, which is made from a certain type of bug)

http://shanalogic.com/category.php?category_id=186

They also have some lipsticks that are brightly-coloured.

Mainstream shops never have them. Look in goth shops in backalleys and stuff. They tend to be great. Also ebay
