Accessories help... - July 6th 2010, 03:32 PM

Our school leavers meal is on Thursday. I have everything sorted except accessories, I am going shopping tomorrow..

I am wearing this skirt, I have changed the belt to one with a bow on it.

With a black bodysuit with 3/4 sleeves.

My shoes are black with bows on them and my bag is black with a bow on it.

I have a pink hair bow that is the same pink as the skirt.

I now just need a necklace, some bracelets and maybe a ring.
I am not sure whether to go pink or black with them, so any help would be appreciated there.

Also I don't know where to go for them, I have tried
New Look
Accessorize
Debenhams
Next
Marks and Spencers
John Lewis

I don't want anything too expensive. I want to keep it all fairly plain too and have the skirt as the focus point since it is bright and has quite a bit of volume to it...
Also no flowers or heart or anything, since my bag and shoes and belt all have bows on them I would like to stick to bows.

So any ideas and help before I go shopping tomorrow would be great

What about some silver brackets, earrings, or rings. Not everything has to be matchy-matchy. PLUS, silver stuff is much easier to find- and goes with everything. Perhaps you even own some silver things?

Examples:

Oh gosh, sorry, I didn't know about the allergy

Maybe you can look for FAKE silver accessories. No one would be able to tell or anything. I just think adding any more color would be too much. Maybe a neutral black bracelet would work though.

These come apart:

I would say play it up with pink because your wearing a black body suit under it.
The bow is perfect.

I don't know what kind of stores you have in the UK but there is a store here called Ross. Its basically a store with department brand merchandise that is either over stock or slightly messed up. And its like 80% cheaper than what it would go for in the department store. If you have stores like that I suggest going to those places and look at their jewlery.

I would suggest a long necklace(s) and a chunky bracelet.

I think a few cute cream accessories would work wonderfully with your outfit.

i suggest you combine your outfit(cause of the pink skirt) with gold plain jewelry. then you cannot go wrong.
don't exaggerate with the picking. if you are going to wear earrings,do not wear a flashy complicated necklace.
if you are going to wear a ring, that might be any color and complicated as you want.
the bracelet must be gold and pretty plain too. you match that with your earrings. it can be thick if you want.

I ended up borrowing some jewellery from my Mum because I didn't have time to go out

Since I have jewellery and the night out has been and gone I am going to close this....
