What makeup brush set from crown brushes should I buy? - April 10th 2011, 09:03 PM

I looking to buy a good quality makeup brush set. I've heard that crown brush make really good brushes, but they have so many sets to choose from. Which one is best? I wear makeup most days. I am not a makeup artist, I just want a set of good quality makeup brushes that will help to make my makeup look flawless.

I would probably go with 618, 619, or 621 (depending on which color case you'd like ). There's a good variety of brushes, but not so many that you don't even know what you're supposed to do with half of them. 516 has a really good look and diversity to it, and that would be another set I would consider. If you're looking for more brushes, 606 or 604 would be good. 514 would be good if you like brushes that aren't synthetic. 510 is considered by them to be their basic set, so that could also be a good choice.

You really need to decide what you want for yourself. Think about how many brushes you want, what material you want them to be made of, what kinds of brushes you want most, and about how the sets look (as I see they even have one that's pink). If you have any questions, feel free to post back here. For the record, I'm puling numbers off of this page: http://crownbrush.us/index.php?main_...x&cPath=3_27_1 because I'm assuming that's the one you're looking at sets on.
