Liquid eyeliner -
July 7th 2011, 06:09 AM
I used to hate having eyeliner on my top lids but recently got really into it. But at the moment I'm only using a pencil, I use brown because black is quite heavy on me ... I really want to find a liquid liner because pencil's kinda hard to use. I've tried a few but they make my eyes sting like hell!! Does anyone know any brands that might not irritate my eyes? The ones I've tried have been MAC and Bourjious I think ...

Elf make cream eyeliners which are similar to liquid ones but I find them a lot easier to apply and they tend to last longer
![]() http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/eyes/eyeliner The cream eyeliner is the first one there. I'm not sure whether that site delivers to Australia but when I looked on Elf Au they didn't do the cream eyeliner there. The Au site does this though http://www.elfcosmetics.com.au/colle...iquid-eyeliner which you might want to consider

Well if you're looking for a brown liquid liner I'd suggest this one.
http://www.drugstore.com/loreal-line...-790/qxp223061 You can probably get it at most drugstores. It's inexpensive and really good. |

I use kohl on my top lids, it's quicker and easier than liquid eyeliner for me and it suits my style more
I always make a mess with liquid stuff
Maybe it's not my weekend but it's gonna be my year.

I used to use a liquid liner that was like a paint, and it was horrible - difficult to apply and made my eyes sting... Deffinately try to use one like a felt-tip pen if you can ^^

I have several bottles(if one can call them that) of liquid eyeliner, most of them are Wet&Wild and a few are a Hot Topic brand. The Hot Topic ones tend to irritate my skin, but Wet&Wild hasn't. I don't know if your skin is more sensitive than mine or any cosmetic allergies you have, but it'd be hard to get skin more sensitive than mine. =P Try putting the eyeliner on over eyeshadow, if you don't plan on wearing eyeshadow that day then try to avoid putting on eyeliner. Make sure you keep your eyes lightly closed while the eyeliner is drying(biggest disadvantage of Wet&Wild is that it takes forever and a day to dry). If you open your eyes it will smear and if you rub your eyes it will cause the eyeliner to run in easier.

I've never had luck with liquid eyeliner. The pencil crap sucks too, you constantly have to sharpen it and I'm always too rushed or lazy to. I honestly don't know what my favorite type is called, but I like two brands. Hot Topic's isn't bad, as I can usually find colors there pretty easily, but the Maybelline has colors too, just not where I live.
I'm talking about the "Maybelline Unstoppable" type. You twist it, and eyeliner comes up. Always sharp, always clean, always good. I know they have it in brown, I've seen it. I've heard they make colors too, but like I said, I use hot topic's version for that =3 ![]() Take me seriously. I dare you. |
