What sort of makeup do you wear?

Like, what do you do with it? I never wore makeup until recently. Not for any reason really, I was just rather lazy and never saw the point of makeup. But recently I've been wearing a bit of eyeliner, mascara, and sometimes eyeshadow. Today though, since I'm not going anywhere I mixed it up with the colors. Usually I do black or greys. But I recently got some colored eye liner and colored eye shadow, so I've been playing with them.

Like today, I just went all out and did a blue and white mixture, mostly because I just didn't care and I wanted to see what it'd look like. I'm not going anywhere lol But I do look silly


So, question to you is, am I the only person here that likes to play with eye makeup a little bit? I'm not even that girly, which is why it's so funny to me.

Generally I wear no makeup. When I'm feeling fancy I put on blush and lip shimmer and that is it.

I hateee my face when I wear anything on my lips but chapstick. I think it looks way too weird, and it feels awkward too. I've got really pink lips anyway

I looove playing with makeup!! Like Kelly, I play with new looks when I get bored. Depending on your eye color and skin tone different palettes are better for different people. For everyday makeup, I usually do charcoal and near black shadows with black eye liner. And if I wanna add a little fun I use purple eyeliner on the bottom. With mascara. I never use blush tho, I think it looks fake. Did i mention I love makeup

I've always gone with the more natural look (basically just mascara & lip gloss). I know this past year I've been somewhat experimenting with looks, so my new make-up look consists of mascara, eye-liner, eye shadow, powder, & lip gloss.

I usually don't wear any makeup except for ChapStick (I'm addicted to it), but when I go to the mall or something I usually just wear some dark eyeshadow and some eyeliner under my eyes, and some lip gloss.

I don't play around with my make-up at all. I just wear brown eyeliner on my top lids (I've found it closes down my eyes too much if I put eyeliner on my bottom lids), black mascara, and foundation. I'm too lazy and untalented to mix it up. Plus, I just like to look natural.

I wear makeup every day - I'm very self conscious. I wear foundation, concealer, powder and mascara usually. Sometimes I wear liquid eyeliner as well... If I was going out somewhere nice I just apply heavier makeup, more foundation, more eyeliner and sometimes eyeshadow.

In the day I wear a little bit of foundation, concealer, mascara, eye liner and blusher. It sounds a lot but it isn't really when it's all on! I never bother with eye shadow in the day! Then when I got out at night if I'm lucky my sister will do my make up, she did a make up artist course so she can do it really well and it looks amazing! lol nah you're not weird every time i learn a new trick i HAVE to try it out right away! lol but for everyday use i usually try to keep it natural, like with just concealer & powder, brown eyeliner & mascara, white/highlight eyeliner for the waterline, shimmery nude color on lids & a matt brown in the crease, blush, & a lipstick that's close to my natural shade. have you ever tried an eyelash curler? i love it! my lashes is the only thing i'll go all out for to give it that dolly look

1st. mousterizing cream, over all my face but more on dry areas
2nd. a baby powder, just to even out pink areas for i have fair skin
3rd. a light, powder just to give my face colour
4th. foundation where its neaded on scars or pimples dark areas under eyes.
5th. a blush. on my cheaks
6st. a nother powder slightly darker than the other. to go over the foundation
7th. masccara!! because i have blonde eyelashes
8th. eyeliner. where ever i feel like putting it. a light blue line usally across the top of my eye lids.
9th. a light eye shadow
10th. just fix up anything elce with a q-tip
11th. add a nice clear lip gloss
12th. put a little eyebrow pencil in my eyebrows and rub it in slightly.!

i do this mainly everyday for school. it takes me around 6-10 mins

Lately I've been wearing a lot more eyeliner, (adding little wings and thickening the lines)

For eyeshadow - either bronze, browns, or purples. They tend to bring out my eye color (which is a dark green). The bronze and brown colors are for days when I want a more natural look, which I use most of the time. Purples are a tad bit more dramatic; when I don't want to look natural, I wear them.

For liner - Black is a bit too harsh for my skin tone; I use a smoky brown color.

For mascara (if I remember to put it on, I tend to forget) - Brownish black. I like the "Falsies" mascara by Maybelline.

I also use liquid foundation and a loose powder to set the foundation and to ensure that it lasts the whole day. I use a light foundation, I don't need it for coverage.

Occasionally I'll use a bronzer (but I kind of like my pale skin) and blush (rarely, though, because my skin flushes easily.)

On a usual day I just wear moisturiser and powder. Sometimes mascara if I'm going out somewhere.

For a night out, however, I put a lot more effort in. I wear liquid foundation, plus the powder and moisturiser (not in that order!), mascara, eyeshadow, lipstick and these little stick-on crystals next to my eyes.

If I have a ballgame that day though, it's normally just foundation.

I just don't see the point. I want to look different outside of school. And people always compliment me when I wear makeup, so it's nice to look different

Usually, all I wear is mascara. But I used to feel I had to wear eye liner every day no matter where I went- which was a real pain. And I've never really been fond of foundation, but that's just me.

As for types... I've always used the black eyeliner you buy in packages, where you twist the pencil and it gives you more product, like the ones below. I think they're amazing.

And I've always used the same mascara too- Define-A-Lash Mascara by Maybelline... the one in the green container :3

Playing with makeup is great because it allows you to see what suits your facial features and what can enhance your looks. I usually wear black and sometimes electric colours depending on what i'm wearing. whats good is that there are so many things you can do with makeup and you don't even need to apply it neatly!! plus it's a way to express yourself xx
