this dress - September 27th 2011, 12:23 PM

So I wanna buy this dress

http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/d...ress_236815187

Do you think I could wear it day (dress it down, baggy cardi and flats?) and then night (heels?)

LOL

Yeah I think so. I think it all depends on the shoes, accesories and how you wear your hair & make up etc.

I agree with Megan. It all depends on what you do with your hair, makeup and accessories.

Re: this dress - September 27th 2011, 03:19 PM

Totally could do both. I don't particularly like the yellow-y color, the others are much cuter (to me), but that's just my personal taste. I think some of the other colors could potentially transition from night to day better, too. BUT still, I think it's cute and could do both

It's very pretty, but maybe it'd transition better in a different shade? The paler ones with contrasting heels and make-up would work well of an evening =)

You could definitely make that transition if you went with a different shade than yellow.

Agreed, the yellow is naff, I was thinking the pale pink or red. Red is winning LOL

I think the red could easily be worn for both

I'm apparently the only person here that loves yellow. =P Although I feel like it's definitely more of a casual dress than a night out dress. You could dress it up for some occasions, not others.

I'm a BIG fan of deep red dresses so go red!! :P
But in answer to the question, yes it could definately work for both!!

Re: this dress - September 29th 2011, 12:37 AM

I think this dress would work extremely well for either look. As long as its in a different color.

I was just thinking of an idea to dress it down. Take the small belt off put on a slouchy cardi and put a large belt over the outside of the cardigan and that would look cute. And that look would be good if you wanted to swap your flats for heels

I don't see why you couldn't wear this at day and night, just be careful with your accessories and makeup ^^
