I know it should be something "semi-formal", but I don't really know what that means. I'm going dress shopping today and I'm worried I'll buy the wrong type of dress for the dance and look over-dressed or under-dressed. So any advice would be helpful, thank you!

If its semi formal just go with a short dress. Any short dress really will do, and you can wear any type of shoes you prefer

It could be a long dress, but not fancy ... for example:
Maxi dress wise this is semi-formal, it's pretty but as it's viscose/elastane it has a casual feel http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/d...ress_232992343For a short dress, soemthing like this: http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/d...ress_232869572 I'd say the rule is semi-formal is the kind of dress you could go out for a really nice dinner in ... formal tends to be silky and shiny and gemstoney
You can't move mountains by whispering at them. Take a look at my art here: http://attemptedart.tumblr.com/ |
