Cheap Band Merchandise - January 10th 2009, 04:50 PM

Well all the sites and stores I seem to look at are all really expensive and well I like a good bargain =P

I'm looking for a nice backpack for school, it doesn't really have to be a band product but something like Vans, Dickies or similar labels would be good. The cheapest one I've found and liked is £19.99 and I only get £20 a week so I don't want it all gone at once =/

Any sites or stores would be helpful and I live in the UK so would prefer websites from there but if it's American it doesn't matter as long as P&P isn't too much.

Have you tried smartpunk.com yet?
Sorry thats all I have write now.

Or maybe you could make your own band merch.
For example, paint or screen-print band logos or whatever onto a shirt.

And I have a habit of writing song lyrics all over my shoes, plain colored shirts, and blank stuff.

I'm not really the artistic type, I've tried customising things before but they went all wrong =/

Hey Cara,
I would (as mentioned above) try and customise your backpack, I think that would be a great idea, could you ask a friend to help if you don't feel like you're that artistic? Or perhaps if you stuck badges on with safety pins for example, you'd be able to see if it looked good before you permanently stuck them on?

As for websites, i'd also say smartpunk.com, marketmusic.com, loudclothing.com, grindstore.com

Band merchandise is always expensive. I go on www.loudclothing.com when im looking for some band merchandise, but they are pretty pricy.

Sites like eBay would probably be good for bargains on band merchandise.

I'm sorry i couldnt find any bargains on bags aside from band merchandise but i'm still looking, i could do with a new backpack myself.

You can find band patches in a number of stores, and merely sew them onto whatever item of clothing you wish to wear.
They cost roughly £3 each, so it won't break the bank.
Also, the cheap band stuff tends to not be official merchandise.

HMV does them badges for £3?
You could always try Amazon aswell as Ebay. They always seem more trustworthy to me.
