Interview shoes-Toms?

Overall question. I bought a new pair of shoes for an interview I have Sunday, some flats, and they ended up very uncomfortable. I didn't have time to try them on a lot when I bought them, and post-buying, I realize that they rub against my heals very bad and I know I'll be bleeding by the end of my interview. I think I will probably return these shoes.

Then I was thinking: The interview people specifically said to be "business-casual" because part of the interview is moving around a lot, working with other people. So I was thinking, would Toms be okay for a "business-casual" dress interview? I'll post a picture of the outfit if you guys want, but overall, what do you guys think of Toms during an interview?

I would say those are fine. I've seen them in many business-casual places.

I think they would do. They are casual yes, but they can also look really nice with an outfit
I don't think they would not hire you over shoes though

I would say yes, colour providing. Bright red, green or even glittery ones probably wouldn't go down too well, but navy or black would be absolutely fine, I'm sure! Also, what i've seen with mine and a few others' TOMS, is that the inner sides can sometimes touch the ground and fray; try and avoid a tattered pair like this and you'll be good to go!

Interview is over, Shannon feel free to close. I actually ended up just wearing my uncomfortable shoes in the interview but walking over in my Toms. Bahaha. I was too scared they'd judge me.
