Question Black hair and bleached bangs? - November 13th 2012, 12:38 PM

So I had this really cool idea of dying my hair black but bleaching my bangs a light blonde and then get my hair trimmed and maybe layered. My hair is down to my shoulders now but I don't have any really super recent pictures of myself. Thats the most recent picture I have and it was taken this past Halloween.
So I was just wondering, what you think

I think it would look cool, however black can be a very harsh color and doesn't suit all skin tones well. I would try a dark brown first and if you like it you can go darker.
Also keep in mind that once you dye your hair black, its going to be difficult to get it back to a lighter color later on.
But, I do think it would look nice. You an always go visit your hair dresser and ask them for their opinion.

And here you are living, despite it all.

I think that would look really cool, although I do agree with Nicole's idea of trying a dark brown first to make sure you like it.
You're very pretty, btw, and I actually really like your hair the way it is My hair is basically a gigantic fluffy bird's nest if I don't put it up

Hey there
Have you ever dyed your hair before? I know my hair is naturally dry, and if I dyed it dark & then try to bleach it..it would be fryed, to say the least.
Just be careful, I don't want you to regret it
