Change Of Styles? - August 27th 2013, 07:25 PM

Im going to go out on a limb here and put 2 photos up, the first is me now....The second is the haircut im thinking of

Ok so basically a few weeks back i had a haircut coming up and i was just sitting there thinking how much i wanted off and thought "Wow im so bored with getting an inch off EVERY month" Ive had my hair for 5 years like this.
I feel like i need to change, to grow up, not that my hair is making me feel young just that at some point in my life im going to have to have short hair dont i? i cant be a fully grown man with this haircut, i feel like i should move on and make a transition to something more mature, but damn am i worried about it, it took me 2 years of bad haircuts to get it just right and was it a rollercoaster of self esteem issues

My question is, Should i go for this haircut? is it going to be as bad as i think?

I think you could pull off that haircut, and if you want a change, then go for it! I recently chopped off my hair and got a pixie cut, so I know where you're coming from. In my experience, it's totally worth it. It gave me an opportunity to re-invent myself, if that makes any sense. Also, if you end up not liking it, you can always grow it out again.

I think that it will look good on you. But, the person that does your hair should be trained, so maybe they can offer you some insight on what they think about whether this will look good on you or not. I know that's what I did once, showed my hairdresser a few hairstyles I wanted and she told me if they'd look good. But, Elsa is right that if you don't like it, you can always grow it out!
