what type of bangs to get - October 7th 2013, 12:48 AM

So, my hair is currently very dark red, about jaw length, wavey, and just a bit dried out. It looks like this . I've just started a business school with a fairly conservative dress code, including modest colors and styles. At the end of the month I was planning on getting it professionally colored as well as thinned out and trimmed. I can't deside wether to get get straight across bangs (I'm trying to grow my hair out and would KILL to be able to style it like Zoey Deshanel with her big barrel curls). On the other hand, I've typically stuck to the sideways style, something like this, . I just can never tell what style is more flattering to my face, since it is a bit more on the rounded side. Oh, also, I usually wear my glasses, lost those suckers somewhere...but they're typical, black, square framed lenses, if that makes a difference. Thanks!

I think the straight across bangs would look great.

I honestly like how it originally is but if you want to try out the full bangs then you should just go ahead and do it

I have quite a round face and for as long as I can remember I've always had full bangs straight across and I looked weird when I have it styled in any other way so I wouldn't worry too much about them not suiting your face. Besides, if you don't like you can always pin it back with some clips or a headband until it grows out again so it wouldn't be a big deal if you thought it looked bad.

I hope this helped, take care
