Simple Question about hair - December 10th 2015, 10:36 AM

Hi guys

I have a fringe so everyday I often play with it push it across all those sorts of things. Does this damage your hair? I'm not pulling on it or anything just playing with it in my hands sometimes flicking it across or pushing it back. Would this damage your hair or make or thicker or longer quicker ? One of my friends was saying this to me and I didn't believe him at first but it's concerning me.

So I thought I'd ask here thanks everyone!

I don't think playing with your hair is going to damage it or make it grow quicker. The only thing it may do is make your hair become greasy more quickly.

If you were twisting/twirling it a lot or bending it in half then it might cause the hair to split. But if you're just pushing/flicking it then you'll be fine.

Be kind to yourself.
