Hairdrying issue - April 27th 2016, 07:14 PM

My hair keeps sticking together when I blow dry it, like the bits right near the back of my neck, and it's really painful to pull it apart again.

Any tips?

Hey

How long is your hair, out of curiosity?

I don't blow dry my hair much so I don't have much experience with this, but these are the things I do when I do it. You could try combing through your hair before you blow-dry, if that's not already something you do, and brush through your hair as you're blowdrying to keep the hair strands separated. You could also look into a detangler of some sort.

Thank you!

My hair is medium length, just below shoulder height. It's also really thick

Hey,

I have thick, curly hair so I feel your pain. Maybe you could section your hair when you dry it and use a brush too as you're going, it might make it a little easier. If your hair is on the curlier side you could use a de-fuser, it might help also.

Best of luck,
Paige
