If I’m letting my hair be natural, I won’t bother really parting it so I get root volume and because my hair will switch sides and clump together. Plus, it looks really bad if I try to part my hair differently instead of just letting it stay how it’s trained.

However, if I’ve straightened it, it must have a straight part. Same with braids or such, the part must be straight.

Re: Hair - December 11th 2017, 04:23 AM

I was talking about the hair part being perfectly straight like a perfectly straight line, not hair being straight or not. But okay. Same my hair is trained to go a certain way but doesn't fall naturally into a straight part. Why would you have your hair up all the time? That just seems weird to me.Why tie it up all the time, let it be free sometimes. Yes,I can imagine guys straightening their hair would be hard as guys hair is usually very close to the head and short. Thats good you like it natural, i wish i could love my hair natural as much as you do.

Maybe I have OCD about having to have my hair part perfectly straight. Its maybe OCD or body dysmorphic. I don't know. Probably more OCD i think . Yes I have posted this in mental health form before but yeah I just want others opinion if they obsess over having their hair part perfectly straight or not.
I know if i got rid of bangs that I wouldn't have to obsess over my hair part being perfectly straight. When you have bangs and a side part you kind of have to have the part just right and the part straight so that you don't have a long hair mixed in with the short bangs.

I really don't want to get rid of my side bangs though. So ill just have to try my hardest to stop being so obsessed with my hair part being perfectly straight.

I have my hair up all the time, because it is long and it bothers me when I feel it on my neck and stuff,But I like it long and do not want to cut it for awhile, I probably will within the year though. Plus I am really weird because when my hair is in a pony tail or braid, I have to have it super tight, so that might be why I have it up most of the time.
