lol okay so i have a few ideas on what i like but i dont no what would look okay on me... i want to get an updo but dont exactly no how.. like ive said =P lol okay heres a pic of me if it helps =P....

Your hair would look awesome in a bun, messy or neat. Just made a really smooth pony tail and if you want it messy, back comb it, then pin bits of it in leaving some out. Basically experiment, or for just a normal bun, twist the pony tail and secure with grips.
You can search for more detailed descriptions, or youtube does some awesome videos on hair styles as well.

^ Agreed. That, or part your hair on the side (rather than in the middle), try to do a little side-swept bangs type look, and curl your hair so it frames your face with loose curls. After you've curled it (either with curling iron/curlers/ask a friend to do it - that's what we did in high school), lightly mist it with a little hair spray then shake it out a little. If it's major curly right after you get done - no worries - it'll fall as the night goes on into gorgeous loose curls. I can't wait to see! I hope you have a great time at your dance.
