Short vs Long Hair - January 9th 2010, 10:12 PM

Well I do want to grow out my hair but I'm wondering whether I look better with short hair or long(ish) hair because I might have it chopped short again because
1. Short hair's easier to manage
2. It stays straight longer for me
3. Takes less time to straighten so I can have longer in bed
4. Easier to dye
5. Doesn't get in my way
6. Don't have to use as much shampoo

So the one on the left is what my hair's like now and the one on the right is what it used to be like. If I get it cut I'll probably get a different style to that but the length is about the same.

Well personally I think bother look great so I wouldn't be able to make a good decision. But if you want practicality I'd go with the shorter hair, that's just what I think though =p

I think both are nice, but I think short is more suited to you. It's super cute short.

I like the long hair one, in both pictures you look good, but I've always liked long hair better. It does sound like you want to cut it because of all the advantages you posted...

Well it depends I guess on what you favour, I mean I personally think longer hair looks better on you, but if you're wanting to go for the practicality factor, then cutting it short would be your best bet.

I also realise this post does nothing to help your indecisiveness >.> I'm sorryy^^;

I always prefer long hair in general. Both would suit you, although highlights are always hot

I'm the same as you, I had my hair short for most of my life, then grew it to well past my shoulders, and I can't bear to cut it.
Why not grow it out and if you can't stand it, shop it off. It's easier to do that way instead of chopping then growing [:

I like both, it seems like you are wanting shorter just because of the list you made.
I had the same problem as you and I kept having it cut.
In the end I grew it long. Now I want it cut again but I cant do it because it took me so long to grow it in the firt place

I think Ill vote for short though just because I really like short hair at the moment

The thing is once it gets to the length in that picture it doesn't grow very quickly so it's stuck in a midlength type thing that's so annoying coz it doesn't stay straight and it doesn't stay up in a bobble properly.

I absolutely love that short style on you. I voted chop it off, but long hair also suits you, so no matter you'll look great. When I used to have new hair allll the time, I always told myself "It's hair, it will grow back."

If you're wanting it to grow faster, why not try special shampoos or whatnot that are meant to help with growing?

You're a babe by the way It's really up to you hun. I think if you have the patience you should go for it and grow it long, but you have the face to get away with short hair and I think it suits you.

with your facial feature you should keep it long. Yes it is easier to tame when its short. But trust me sometimes when you want to throw it up when u are having a bad day you cant. And then it will get on your nerves. I wish i didnt cut all my hair off. But then again if you want to keep it short its really your choice. Look at the good and bad in both hair styles.

Personaly, I think you should keep your hair long, it looks a lot better, it may take a lot longer to straighten but it looks better than the shorter hair
