this is going to take forever.. - April 2nd 2010, 08:47 PM

basically i dyed my hair brown(originally blonde) and i LOVE it! dyed it twice, because the roots started coming in, but i'm thinking of growing my blonde hair back out...But, i'm not looking forward to the half blonde have brown look...are there any hair styles which will stop it from looking so..silly..?

OR

I've been thinking about using a dye stripper, but i've heard that they do horrible things to your hair, and my hair is really thin already and rather sensitive(if hair can be sensitive, but hopefully you will know what i mean )

T___T

thanks for the help ox

Your safest bet is to go to a salon, really. I have friends who've had horrible horrible disasters trying to bleach or strip their color. Professionals do stuff like you want to have done all the time, so that's your safest bet.

I agree with Keeley. If you go to a salon, your hair will look better and they will know what to do so that you'll get a better result.
Good luck.

What I've done before, when I was too lazy to go to a salon (), was dye it as close as I could get it to the natural colour and let it grow out that way. Which may save you money and keep your hair a bit healthier than using what is used to strip hair colour. (I did once and my hair went frizzy and kept falling out - not fun and it makes you look horrid. )

wreckage of their life to build something beautiful brand new,
against every odd that is stacked against them.” — Nikita Gill

Try that root touch-up stuff. It might work. Or just dye it your original color, the color that matches your roots, just for now until you have it all grown out to the way you want it. It does take hair a long time to grow the length you want it plus having to go in for trims for split ends is good, maintain it and keep it healthy.
Also Dove shampoo and conditioner is the best for your hair, keeps it nice and smooth.

I'd go to a salon ... my sister tried to strip her hair recently with some new stuff form Boots, her hair was fine after but it didn't work to strip the colour either.
