Question My hair sucks! - April 18th 2010, 01:22 AM

Hiya! i hate my hair i have it curly, wavy, and since its really long i look like a Lion. The only way that looks nice, is if i have it straight but that takes tooo long. plus using the iron just burns your hair.
And it gets really frizzy, what can i use to stop the frizz? Ive tried a whole bunch of products for the problem, but nothing works!

Have you tried Frizz-Ease? I've heard that it works wonders

^^ Yeah, is that the John Frieda stuff?? I might eb wrong, but if i'm not, I've used that stuff before and it's lvoely. Although it sounds as though you might need something a bit more powerful for your hair... just to ask, what kind of products do you use??
I haev quite curly hair, although it's quite thin and fine so it's not too ahrd to manage frizz-wise. But I scrunch mousse into it when it's wet, and I like to put serum in it when it's dryer. You could also try using shampoo that helps with the frizz?? Seriously, I can name some brands I've used if you want but there's sooo many out there, Google is your friend here really!!
Also a major tip is not to rub your hair with a towel when you're drying it ~ this is a biiig factor leading to frizz!! Just pat it or let the towel soak up the water.

I've heard Frizz-Ease is meant to work wonders. I use Tresemme serum which usually does the trick. Aussie have 3 minute conditioners/treatments for frizz, I haven't tried it myself but their products are usually good

I use dove and pantene anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner
and ive used other brands but i can't remember the names and nothing seems to work. i dont like to use mousse because it makes your hair look wet and i dont like that.

Frizz Ease man!! I have so many products.. Conditioner, the lotion cream, the heat defeat for straightening... You can get them at Walmart I believe, Target, probably a drug store too. It's common and pretty in-expensive... $5 - $10

Yep, definitely Frizz-Ease. I have that stuff and it's amazing.

I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons.
And maybe we’ll never know most of them.
But even if we don’t have the power to choose where we come from,
we can still choose where we go from there.
We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.
