Need Leave-In/Thermal Protectant - May 12th 2010, 02:29 AM

I use Paul Mitchells Seal and Shine. It's wonderful but I'm not sure If I'll be able to shop at Cosmoprof anymore.

I need a leave in conditioner that is ALSO a heat protectant. Anyone know of any?

Firstly, Paul Mitchell is god.

I'm not sure where you live (which certian products are near you.)
But I looked it up Google.ca, and here are my three favourite finds;

#1) Matrix Sleek Look;
Extra Intense Conditioner
Sleek.look Professional Smoothing System with 24 Smooth Multi-Mend Technology™ blends ceramide, shea butter and apricot oil to help REPAIR damage, CONDITION hair and CONTROL frizz with long-lasting humidity protection for shine and all-day smoothness. Instantly transforms unruly, curly, wavy or frizzy hair into sensuously-sleek styles that stay smooth from shampoo to shampoo.

#2) Aveeno;
Nourish&Condition Leave-In Treatment
^ does much more than nourish and condition — it quenches the thirstiest hair with a fusion of deep conditioners and moisturizers, recharging it with healthy new life. Hair is instantly revitalized and scientific studies show that just three uses helps repair dry, damaged hair.* And, using the Leave-In Treatment as part of a complete NOURISH+ regimen will help protect your hair from damage caused by thermal styling, resulting in up to 95% less breakage.

#3) TRESemme;
Vitamin E Moisture Rich Conditioner
Restores moisture balance for soft, shiny,
healthy-looking hair. Protects from future damage.

Hope this helped, pm me anytime.

I'm looking for a product that is a leave in AND a thermal protectant. I've the last one, It's great, but I'm not looking for conditioners.

I ended up buying the new Heat Protectant and Shine Spray for from the New Pantene Fine Hair Solutions line and using Aussies leave-In Conditioner. It works well enough but you know... One product is usually better.

I know I like Paul Mitchell's Hair Serum. Well, most top-shelf hair serums are good. Although, I don't straighten my hair, but my sister does hers.
