The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.
It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.
You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward.
How much you can take, and keep moving forward.

Yes it's hard to cut your hair the first time. And not to mention, some people are good at it, and some people aren't. You won't know until you do it, and if you're bad at it, you'll REALLY wish you hadn't tried to cut your own hair.

I wrecked mine a few times, but now I'm quite good at it. I've always been good with hair though.

I cut my own hair, but its forgiving because its curly. Unless you are at least 110% sure you CAN do it, don't. Hair does grow back, but it isn't worth the hassle if you mess it up.

I don't cut all of my own hair, but I do cut my bangs.
Generally I wet my hair/bangs down and trim it on an angle.

I've cut my fringe before and attempted to give myself some more layers. Attempted being the key word! xD

I cut my fringe myself but I don't think I'd feel safe cutting my whole hair since y'know it's kind of hard to see what you're doing at the back so it could end up all different lengths

I wouldn't cut my own hair, at all. And my mum wouldn't allow it anyway! But I'm lucky that my mums a hairdresser so I can get it done in my house xD

I would advise cutting your own hair. It seems so difficult and not worth the hassle.

I used to cut my own fringe, but I regret that now 'cos I'm trying to grow it out
It's not too difficult but beware of making rash decisions. It's much easier to be impulsive when you do it yourself - it was in my situation, anyway.

i only cut mine once, when I was six. It ended up about an inch shorter on one side than the other I wouldn't do it myself, but if you're good at hairdressing, go for it.

I cut my fringe now and then. My mum's friend used to be a hairdressing teacher so I'm lucky there Maybe try cutting a very small amount of first and see how it goes

no, i don't, only if i can't brush it and get really mad. mine is long and i don't mind that. as for you, you can cut your own hear only shorter, not complicated hairstyles, that can turn out messy. better to trust your stylist or gather your hair into a (pony) tail and cut shorter, the dead ends of your hair. pretty effective.

Me too. It's too expensive to get it bangs done all the time. I don't know if I would cut my own hair, but bangs are at the front of our face. It's easier to just do it yourself.

Actually, you can't do that because your ponytail should taper to a point. If you were to cut your hair while it's in a ponytail it would really mess it up.

I don't, I leave it up to my professional. (: I tried one time, and even if you think you're doing it right, most of the time, you cut it in a bad place that can ruin your hair all over. If you do your research though, I don't see anything wrong with it!

I tried

If you would like to though, you can watch tutorials on YouTube and ask some people who have cut their own hair before.
You can also read THIS for some tips.

I don't really trust myself to cut my own hair. xD I'd probably cut too much off/wouldn't be level or something like that. I've tried to cut my fringe in the past, but I tend to leave it to the professionals.
