Dyeing My Hair Wed.

So I've been telling my mom about how I've been wanting to put streaks in my hair and how I like Splat (Hair Dye Color Brand) and she was finally like alright alright I'll do it (and my best friend is also going to get her's done) . My mom isn't a complete idiot when it comes to hair but I don't want her to screw up considering she hardly knows whats shes doing half the time
Should I let her do it or let her friend do it because she was a hair stylist before.
And I'm thinking of like the neon green or the purple (I have dark brown hair).

ohh, my mate had his hair neon green... it looked epic after it was done, just make sure it dont turn a weird colour when its washing out, my mate kept redying his
and he had bleached hair,,, are you sure the dye with show up on brown hair?
