Long hair on guys?

Hey, what do you guys / gals think about guys with long hair? by long i mean the back down to the shoulders, and the bangs around the nose / lips area. I personally like it, and this is how mine is and I am not really sure if i could go back to having short like i did for the last 13 years before i grew it out long.

Personally, I don't like it when guys have their hair that long. I prefer a guy's hair to be short or a buzz cut. However, that is just my opinion. There are plenty of girls who like guys with longer hair. You should only change your hair if you want to.

Oh trust me, it would take me really really liking a girl to change preety well anything about me for them ( to a certain extent I am willing to change other things forany decent relationship.) I plan keeping my hair around this length, although I'm getting it cut soon because I don't like it quite this long because it gets to curly but it will still be long till college or when I'm done with college. Just wondering what people think. The biggest down side is that and the music I like constantly make people think I do drugs etc. Which I haven't and never will which kind of sucks .

Personally, I don't care what a guy's hair looks like (to an extent) as long as he's a good person and I'm into him, I could care less.
What I mean by "to an extent" is you know, as long as a guy has decent hygiene (i.e: their hair is clean and not lookin like a bird nest) it doesn't matter how long it is. I don't think anyone should change their hairstyle or anything like that for another person...if they can't love/like you for you and not your hair, they aren't worth it.

Like I said, that would be a big factor in making a guy's hairstyle choice unattractive.

Well for the most part I agree, as long as it's well kept and isn't un-brushed or all greasy, the length doesn't bother me too much. I like guys with longer hair, maybe not that long though, but that's only because of a bad choice I made that I'm having trouble getting past with a guy with that long of hair. I could see a guy with hair that length and like him even now though. It all depends really.

Ya, I am getting mine cut tomorrow probably I am deciding how I want it done, how short i want it etc, probably go most of the way down my neck and half way down my nose on bangs or so.

I just completely melt if a guy has long hair. My boyfriend now has longer hair than mine, it goes mid back although he does have bangs because they are just grown into his hair I love it. I just love it when I guy has long hair, I don't mind guys that have short hair I prefer guys with long hair. Its like 100% times better. As long as its kept up and not disgusting and its clean.

My ex had hair shoulder length and he had a kind of side fringe. Here's a pic, I have blocked out his face for privacy/confidentiality.


Anything past shoulder length is pushing it but to be honest as long as it is tidy and clean then I don't mind. (My ex's hair is a bit messy but we were at a party with a bouncy castle )
I just hate it when guys have greasy tangled hair. If it looked after then it wouldn't bother me in the slightest.

It's not really my preference; I like short hair or buzz cuts on men. There are a lot of girls out there who do like long hair, though.
My personal opinion is that if it's past the shoulders, it's too long. I wouldn't want to be with a guy who has longer hair than I do.

I don't mind guys with long hair. (: (I really like the length that Rachel's ex has/had.) But, as other people had mentioned, it needs to be clean and not all greasy-like.

Ya, i really have learned mostly not to care about the people who think i do drugs, i tell them i don't do drugs if they ask, and if they choose to believe me thats there problem not mine. Thank you very much . I might post a picture on here when ever i get it cut of how long it is.

You should grow it long, since long hair is always awesome /bias.

Don't have it too long at the front though, part/split it so it doesn't get in your food. I know that seems a strange thing to say, but I remember being annoyed at this when I was 14 and first started to grow my hair ^^;

Ya, if I am eating or writing then I usually have it parted to the sides.

Awesome. Also, remember, be patient, when you first grow it out, it'll be a mess for anything from 6 months to a year, depending on how fast your hair grows. Remember, go for the girliest shampoo you can. I know at first it can be a bit embarassing buying it, but you really do feel the difference in your hair. If you have a sister, steal her's.

I think it all depends on the guy, honestly. Some guys can pull off longer hair while others just look silly

This, pretty much. My boyfriend has short hair, but hell if I don't tend to like guys who have long or emo style hair. Mainly the emo thing because they dye it black a lot of the time, and dark hair is just hot.

Mine's exactly the same, I hate it (well actually it goes blonde in summer and brown in winter but...) I wish it was ether blonde or brown, but it's just...meh.

Anyways I like boys with longish hair, anything up to the shoulders, not below them personally though :/ And I reeally don't like it put up. But that's personal preference again.
Anything shorter than about 2 and 1/2 inches I don't really like either, so I don't like it when my bf first has his hair cut lol Til it grows out again...

I like guys with long hair. It is quite funny though that when I am hanging out with one of my friends after I cut my hair that he has longer hair than I do. My hair is way too long at the moment and I want it cut up again. Though the guy in that picture above has longer hair than I do after I cut it. :P

It kind of depends for me. Some guys can pull it off well, others.. not so much. Usually I prefer it long, but shorter than shoulder length.

Up to my chin usually maybe a little lower, with long layers that go up to about two/three inches from my head.
