Feather Extensions - July 28th 2011, 08:50 PM

I just got some awesome feather extensions in my hair I have a bright green, pale green, and black and yellow stripey. I might post pictures later, but I just got them in this morning. Supposedly, they last until the grow out/start looking weird.

I've tried to look up some basic facts for taking care of them, but basically what I've found is to be careful when brushing your hair. Does anyone have any tips on taking care of them, or certain do's and don'ts? Certain things I should be careful with?

Mostly just be careful when brushing near your roots. If you got decent feathers, they're perfectly okay to style (blow dry, straighten, curl, braid, etc).

Order some extra beads online and you can put them back in yourself once they've grown out a bit. No sense in tossing them if they still look decent!

And you know that, mother, I'd be lying, if I didn't tell you I'm afraid of dying.

That's awesome! I love the way those look, post pictures! I heard the same thing, just be careful with them when you brush and style.
