Highlights/Streaks

I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I want opinions. And pictures, post pictures!

What is your favorite style for highlights/streaks in your hair? Or do you like how your own is? I'm considering, after my feathers come out, maybe getting streaks in my hair...I really like how Tina from Glee does hers, though I don't think as a dirty blond I could pull off such bold colors:



I love how hers starts like halfway down. Opinions? Pics? Colors for dirty blond hair?

I like streaks that kinda blend in, like are in underlayers of the hair rather than right on top. I believe they're referred to as peek-a-boo highlights. That's how I've done my hair the few times I've put blue in my hair & I have light blonde hair. Here's an example:

For dirty blonde hair, blue and pink always looks really cute in it. When I was a blonde I would dye some pink streaks in it occasionally and it always looked really cute.
