Questions about my hair

Soooo, when it comes to my hair, I am absolutely clueless. For some reason my hair gets split ends really easily and my hair is falling out. Does anyone have any ideas what's wrong with my hair? I'd rather not be bald.

I use shampoo and conditioner and my hair is really fine if that helps.

Do you comb your hair after you shower? We loose about 100 hairs a day and if you don't comb your hair then its common for it to fall out on its own.
If you dye your hair at all or use heat, it can be damaging which could be causing this as well.
They make split end protectors, I currently use the one by Aussie and it works very well. You just put it on your ends after you shower.

I heard the one about combing your hair after showering so I don't do that anymore unless I'm in a hurry. I usually comb my hair right after I wake up, but my hair just falls out on it own when I run my fingers through my hair and I'll pull out like ten hairs
I've only dyed my hair once and that was years ago, but I usually don't style my hair I just leave it down. I'll try that split end protector the next time I go shopping.

Is your conditioner really moisturizing? That could help a lot. Other then that, its pretty normal to lose hair. Unless you notice your hair thinning out a lot, I wouldn't be worried.

I lose hair like crazy. I dye my hair really often as well but even before I started dying my hair, I lost it quickly.

Some people just lose a lot of hair quickly, if you notice bald spots or anything I would go see a doctor, other than that its pretty normal.
As far as split ends, you get them a lot if you don't keep your hair trimmed, thats why you are supposed to get your hair trimmed every 4 to 6 weeks.

Well it's been I think three months since I last hair cut so I think I'm due. Lol
I do have a bald spot, but that's from a scar, so I'll try not to be too worried.

Thats probably why you get split ends a lot. Its really good to keep up with just about an inch or two of a trim to keep them away.

I get dead/split ends all the time not only because I don't go ever 4 to 6 weeks but because I do a lot of stuff to my hair.

I don't do a lot, I'm just unimaginative with it, the most I do is put it in a ponytail or put it up with a clip.

Even if you dont do a lot with it you sill need trims.

Im a nut when it comes to my hair, Im always doing something with it. Why dont you do anything with it. Its a lot of fun and it can make a girl feel good about herself when she does something fun with her hair.

I don't do a lot because I really don't go anywhere. I pretty much go to work (I milk cows so they don't care if I'm all dolled up ) and I go to school. And when I do go out with friends, I don't have time to actually do my hair up all nice. I wish I could do my hair, or that I had an imagination to come up with something stylish.

Totally get that about work. And even sometimes with school but sometimes its just nice, ya know?

Have you thought about getting a new hair cut, something that will look good even if you don't do anything to it.

Yeah, I have really long hair, and I want to cut it short, but I know it'll feel weird when I do but I also kind of don't want to get rid of my long locks.

I know what you mean. I just got a hair cut today and went short. I didn't want to get rid of my long hair because I want it to grow to be longer but it really needed it. My ends were so badly damaged that it was just disgusting. I think you should get it cut. If its somewhat on the longer side, just get like a long but short hair cut.

Yeah, right now it's to the middle of my back an I want to cut it to about shoulder-length.

Then I would do that. It may be a really good small little change that could do wonders for yourself.

The worst for me was when I wen from hair down to my waist then got it cut to chin length. THAT took some getting used to.

I had hair that went from my boob area and got it cut into a pixie. That took everyone getting used to it. No one knew I was getting pixie besides my mom and I.

If you have a longer face some really cute straight across the bangs would good and if you have a rounder face big semi short side swept bangs would look good. Then just get really fun layers.

I have a longer face. I had layers at one point, but it wasn't cut right by the stylist and it really didn't look right on me. So if I get them again I'll go to a different person.

That haircut would take some getting used to.
