Red Highlights? -
February 3rd 2012, 01:23 AM
I have light brown hair, almost dirty blond but not quite, and I think it's really boring. I have side bangs and it's a couple inches past my shoulders... Anyway I'm thinking about getting red streaks, just in the front. Idk if my mom will let me. But if she does, do you think that would look good? And do you think I should get a really bright red or maybe a dark red? Idk. Ideas?

It will go well with your color of hair. I would opt for a darker red though, because red is the fastest fading color. I've found that darker reds tend to stay in better than brighter reds.
Make sure to get a shampoo and conditioner for color treated hair to help reduce fading, and shower in cold water every other day rather than every day. ![]() Buddy|Live Help Operator|HelpLink Mentor|Social Networking Team Relationships&Dating Mod|Lifestyle Mod|Media&Entertainment Mod Performance Committee |

Thanks
. Blue and green is cool too! I don't think I could ever pull that off though. Red is the only color I think would look good on me. I want to dye black streaks in my hair, but I'm going to wait because I know my mom wouldn't let me.

Red would definitely go well with your hair color. But, like Nicole said, go with a darker red. For some reason, red fades really fast. Darker shades tend to last a little bit longer, so you won't have to go in for touch-ups as often.
