Bleach on Thin Hair..? - March 6th 2012, 02:50 AM

Alright so, I'm one of those girls with the straight, thin hair. Its dirty blond colour, but my friend dyed it months ago and now it has a hint of orange in it and in certain lights it does look truly orange..
So I kind of want to bleach my hair to get rid of it, but my hair is thin so I don't want it to get destroyed, you know? Do you think it would be okay to bleach it? Or should I just let it all grow out.. sadly I tried re dying my hair so it was brown but my hair didn't take to it too well, (it seriously barely showed up..) but now my roots are growing out darker then they were to begin with because of that D;
There was this one kind of dye I saw that had bleach added to it..maybe that would be better?
If I used bleach would my hair go white..? LOL.
I haven't dyed my hair in awhile, and its seems pretty healthy.. I'm just afraid my hair is going to die or something..And no dying it isn't something I do often, I just wanna be an actual blondie again!
Advice?! Thankies (:

Bleach will make your hair go bleach blonde. So if you're looking to restore it to your natural color I wouldn't recommend that unless you're willing to dye your hair dirty blonde after bleaching it.
There are some blonde dyes that are made to lighten your hair and do contain some bleach. You could try one but make sure you check it often so it doesn't get too light.
I think the best way is to get a hair toner. That will take out the brass color (the orange) out of your hair.

And here you are living, despite it all.

You need a blue based toner to neutralize the orange. Just go to a salon. It won't be too expensive and they will be able to get you back to your natural.
