Question Question - December 12th 2010, 07:48 PM

I had a tattoo done on saturday which I love, and I'm just wondering how long I can expect it to be sore for?
Its done on my right wrist, check out my blog for a pic of it!

"Friends are like stars; you don't always see them but you know they are always there"

"It gives me hope. I love you so much. You give me a reason to breathe. Its something for me to not kill myself for" >>> means so much :')

Since it was just done yesterday it will be sore for a few days. especially since it was on the wrist which is generally a more sensitive area to get tattooed.

My brother has gotten a few tattoos and he says it will be sore for about a week. It really depends on where it is and how big it is.
My guess is about 4-5 days. I'm glad you like your tattoo!

Re: Question - December 15th 2010, 05:18 AM

That's awesome that you really like your ink, always a plus anyways as for the soreness, I personally have 4 tattoos, none on my wrist but the more tender areas ie: ribs, feet, wrists, stay sore longer. I have my ribs done and they were tender and sore to touch for about 5 days but my shoulder and lower back were sore for 2 days, the first and second days are the worst after that you're about home free. The entire healing process varies person to person but in a 2 to 4 week time span your tattoo will be completely healed! Enjoy your tattoo!

Mine was sore for a day or two. Stopped feeling it until it was touched with anything!
