Seamless Ring - September 9th 2011, 11:21 PM

So a couple months ago I got my tragus pierced and the piercer put a ring in it. I'm pretty sure it is a seamless ring because I can't for the life of me find any indents in it. Its 18 guage (which is weird, normally she pierces with 16 guage needles) and it's got a really small diameter.
Has anyone else dealt with this before? How do you take it out?

Re: Seamless Ring - September 11th 2011, 08:20 PM

I bought one of these for my cartilage piercing and I managed to get it open to put it in but then I couldn't put the piece back in.

There is a specialist tool used to do these but I just put a small pair of scissors in the ring and slowly opened the scissors which stretched the ring and allowed the small section to fall out and then you would be able to take it out.
I couldn't get it in though, I would have had to put it in my ear then use the scissors to stretch the ring and put the piece in to the space and remove the scissors which was too fiddley.
