Opinions on tongue webbing/smiley/frowny piercings - October 9th 2011, 08:12 AM

I just want to know other peoples opinion on them because honestly I absolutely adore the smiley and tongue webbing, I've had my smiley but taken it out and currently have my tongue webbing. Not too big on frowny's though. What are your opinions on those piercings?

Personally I'm not keen on piercings, even the plain ear ones...
I had my ears done and I hate them, I feel they make my head look lopsided...
But that's just me... On some people I think piercings in general look good
Depends on your style of clothing and what you wear in them
I find the tongue freaky though
Makes me shiver...

@ bitesize you can just google it

Anyways im not really found of tongue piercings neither from a esthetic
point of view or the hygienic.

especially cuz a friend of mine got a infection from a webbing and then they had to cut piece of his tounge out. (ofc . thats just one example)

Just dont think they really look good on girls especially when it comes to kissing and the metal thing hits ur teeth every 5 seconds.

Smiley piercing is through the skin webbing that attaches your upper lip to your upper gum. Tongue web piercing is through the skin webbing that attaches the tongue to the bottom of the mouth. I really don't like either.

Mind you, regular tongue piercings? Me gusta.

I had my smiley for about an hour then decided I didn't like it so I took it out. I don't like frownies, and I have my tongue webbing done. At first it was kinda weird having a piercing under my tongue but I've grown really fond of it and its my favorite piercing that I have right now

I have to agree with Acheron (there's a first time for everything )... regular tongue piercings are the best of all mouth piercings. I don't really care for the others. Btw can you imagine snagging one of the webbing ones? Holy ****.

I think they look pretty cool and I'd get it done myself if I didn't think it'd be so irritating. I got my tongue done and that's enough for me

I'm not a huge fan of facial piercings except for the nose. I do like tongue piercings though.
