I don't see any reason that it would look bad on you.
Just make sure that the ring you choose stays true to your style. If you're confident with it, you'll rock it!

I think a small diamond stud will look nice as well. If its something you want, then I say go for it!

Elo, I have a lip piercing, a purple diamond (fake obviuosly) one as well, so I'm going to give you a quick lowdown before you get it. Lip piercings, particularly studs, do rub on your gums. This causes the gums to be worn down, which can be bad in the long run. I did not get this warning before I got mine, and my gums have been a bit damaged because of it, so be careful when thinking about it. You do not have this risk with nose, so if you were in between, at might be a plus for a nose piercing.
As for the healing process and such, it really varies person to person, most poeple I know had theirs swell quite a bit, they're going to give you a larger stud because of that, so get that changed in three months for a smaller one afterwards. Keeping it clean, if the piercer tells you to use an alcohol mouthwash solution, tell him he's full of crap and go to a different piercer. This is false information, and should not be used. Use a salt water solution and antibacterial/microbacterial soap, alcohol is something you should avoid during the first month, particularly beer because of the yeast and alcohol content both of them will harm your piercing and slow down the healing process. If you use mouthwash, use a nonalcohol one like Act. Good luck! I hope I didn't scare you too much, just wanted to get some facts out there before you get it done.
